TsClient Applet

Here is a shameless edit of the python-example applet that I morphed into a TsClient applet. Of course you have to have tsclient installed for this to work and you have to have all your .rdp files stored in your .tsclient folder in your home dir.
[Q]

Please forgive any poor coding here as this is my first venture into python. Really cool lang. I also grabbed that tsclient icon of the web wiki...

Sure...any suggestions? I just happened to use this applet every day, and I couldn't get rid of a regular gnome bar without something similar. I am also really liking Python, so I'm sure I'll keep tinkering with it.

Chimby, I love the plugin. Question tho: Can you make it search recursively for .rdp files?
[Q]

Currently, I have my .rdp files sorted into folders, and the tsclient applet for the gnome-panel sorts the connections by some unknown hash algorithm.

moonbeam: If, theoretically, I did a full rewrite of the ts-client applet (its not that complex an applet), could we just switch the two?

Don't see any problem with that.

I also expect he example applet may have had a license attached. But that'll need to be checked.

It didn't. I'm going to remove this applet from the 0.2.8 release within a week, unless anyone has any objections.

Valid objections are finding the author and getting a license. Saying "but I use it!" is not valid.

I'm trying to track the author down. I think worst case we'll need to remove it from the release and have someone rewrite from scratch.

I used this applet in the beginning and eventually designed my own, see my post for rDesktop Applet. I very new to this so I'm not sure how to get my code to the right places.
