New applet: Mount applet

I've just written a new applet, that on click reads /etc/fstab, checks which entries are mounted in /proc/mounts, and displays the mount points and whether they are mounted or not. You can then click on a mount point to mount it.
[Q]

IN the preferences you can specify which mount points not to show, and specify a command to run after successful mount. See screenshots:

I find this very useful myself :) I hope it can be useful to others as well, and can be added to the extras-applets .. but i'm not familiar with that stuff or automake and makefiles and all. Could anyone tell me if you're interested in this applet and if so, how i can make it available in the right format for inclusion?

We're always interested in another applet :-)

There are a couple options...
[Q]

1) Just provide the current source and it will get merged in eventually (probably quite quickly actually) once someone does the build files.
[Q]

2) Look at the existing build system (Makefile.am in the applet dirs is where to start) and provide a patch against a branch. Feel free to link to it here but please also provide the patch in https://bugs.launchpad.net/awn-extras/ My suggestion is to provide a patch against awn-testing though others might prefer one agains awn-extras trunk. Either is fine. Not they do have different build systems at this time.

Cool!! I've patched against the awn-testing-branch, and I think I've provided everything so you could just patch it and should be done. Patch is provided in https://bugs.launchpad.net/awn-extras/+bug/186785

Thanks a lot!

Excellent applet. I looked at it a few times before but hadn't taken the time to see how to change the prefs to ignore mount points. Now I just have the two points I need, my CD drive and my DMP, without even a single "none". Now I don't have to keep a Nautilus window open to unmount my DMP, which earns it a place on my permanent applet list.
