It's planned to have the option to switch between asymmetric and symmetric look. like:
asymmetric |---o------| symmetric

That shouldn't be a big problem. Also the height of the curve will be configurable.

Now the only problem is that the Trash applet still won't appear. My distro is Ubuntu 7.04.

Also, I notice that the reflections of the icons don't go all the way down. It's like there's an invisible edge that they stop at... is there a setting to correct this?

I believe that is actually correct. The bar has a 3d edge and the reflection shouldn't wrap around the corner. If you play with the colors, it becomes more apparent. Yet, for some reason I have one launcher, Amarok, the goes all the wat to the screen edge...

Is it possible to have an option for the raise function on the AWN.
Like you can set when it should raise, like now all you need to do it to put the mouse at the bottom of the screen and it will popup.
[Q]

It would be good if you could have the option to only popup if you put the mouse at the bottom corner left or right (and maybe click as well).
[Q]

And also if you click any where inside an open window it should hide again.
