Stacks not working

I have the lates bzr and when i try and use the experimental gui i click it and it never checks....

also when i click my stacks nothing pops out...

any suggestions woudl be great thanks.

SilentStorm fixed this problem...Just put this file in src/stacks and then reinstall awn-extras

do you compile awn from bzr ?

then if you download the bzr revision to the folder awn-extras it should here

I have it installed from some binary repo at the time, so this probably doesn't work for me? Just tried, no difference... experimental GUI only works for my external HDD, while everything else fails...

Where does reocard's rep install the applets libs? When removing awn-core-applets-bzr, none of the applets load, although I compile it (which installs libs to /usr/local/lib/awn/ ). Any way to use reocards repo only for the awn main program, but compile the applets?

Edit: I thought it used to work just to compile anyway? I do have awn-curves compiled while using reocards repo for the rest...

I am having the same problem that searayman was having. I try to check 'experimental gui' and it won't check and then after trying to check it it makes it so the stacks applet doesn't work anymore. Sadly the link to 'stacks_applet.py' that isaac_j87 put up isn't there anymore. Does anybody else have it so I can see if it fixes my problem? Thanks.

I'm guessing Timon is really, really busy. I'll push the fixes that have been provided into trunk some time tonight (if no one gets around to it before me).

As an incentive to use my branch. I do tend to add new applets and patches whenever they show up. And it gets merged with any changes in trunk relatively quickly. Along with having the latest version of my applets. I patched this issue in my branch a couple weeks ago :-) ... prefer not to mess with other peoples apps in trunk though (especially when they're python).
