AWN directory applet

Hi, i'm looking for an applet like in leopard it shows a directory with an animation. you should know what i mean. I found just a screenshot. Can someone write here where can i donwload it? I have awnextras complied, there is an applet 'file browser' but if i add it, then try to drag n' drop a directory nothing heppens.

I suspect you're referring to the stacks applet in combination with compiz. The "animation" probably being a compiz effect. At least that's my guess.

so, if i add the stacks applet on the awn panel shows just a simple whit line, its heppens with other applets too. Why?

what is needed is the console output when you run awn from a terminal.

My guess is that you're missing standard gnome icons in your gtk icon theme.
[Q]



Many applets expect standard gnome icons to be present and don't respond well when they're missing.

ok, i will try to find and install a package with gnome icons.

EDIT: i installed the gnome-icons from ftp.gnome.org and the error is still the same. :/

The line "Creating new applet :None uid:None" is unsettling. That shouldn't be there. How did you edit the list of applets?

i was complied awnextras, and selected the 'file browser' applet from the list in awn menager.

if i want to add another applet i get this :
