well since the firefox/gaim thread was possed by FF questions....

ive been trying to get the gaim plugin to work and havent had any sucess

ive tried editing and install(that didnt work to well...) and ive tried sticking the .so in the plugin folders but it didnt register in gaim D;

i ran debug on gaim and it said

/usr/lib/gaim/gaim_awn.so is unloadable: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
[Q]



maybe wrong arcitcture in the plugin?

Maybe download the source and see if it will build for your processor? I don't have a 64 bit so I really shouldn't be talking but I don't want you to miss out

kinda already tried that by trying to get it to compile with a new install of gaim
which didnt work to my knowledge the directions for including it to be compiled with gaim aren't to precise
