I'm sure this is more of a unique case as I don't see many people use avatar factory (link at bottom). What it does it it makes a music album cover for each album, then references to the folder. I click the album, it plays the folder that had that album picture. Now if I navigate to my music folder with stacks (installed using the awn-extras method), I don't see the album art and instead, open the text that says what to do. With stacks when it first came out, it displayed the covers and used the correctly.

To explain a bit more I took a screen capture. Far left is what happens when I open it. Then what shows in the stack, then how it looks in nautilus.

I'm using bzr 77. I don't think it is a problem with AWN, just that some files got changed so it reads the script differently. "show desktop items" was enabled. The exact text of what "should" make it work is as follows:

Just one more thing: Stacks doesn't show the icon for the Fun Lovin' Criminals' 100% Colombian album. Something to do with the percentage sign not being escaped properly perhaps?

The actual avatar factory? It took me a while and in the end, using Totem was easiest but if you need help, I'll do it though I'm not sure this is the place.

Although I had to reinstall amarok, which also rendered obsolete my vmware-server for some reason (so long for just pressing "no" when apt-get asks you for something...). Well, it works now.
